Click Help Center from the "Help" menu.


Choose between Chrome and any other browser.


Select Managing Your Account from the drop-down menu.


Select 'Delete Your Account' from the drop-down menu.


"How can I remove my account?" will appear.


Now select "Delete your account page" from the drop-down menu.


Select Chrome once more and log in to your account.


Then select "Not Now" from the drop-down menu.


From the drop-down option, choose why you want to delete your account.


Tap "Permanently terminated my account" after confirming your account password.


Select "OK."

If you need to delete your Instagram account for a few days for whatever reason, follow these steps to deactivate Instagram accounts temporarily.

Log in to your account and select the profile icon from the drop-down menu.

Select the Menu(three-line) option in the top-right corner.

Now select Settings (gear icon).

Select "Help" and then "Help Center."

Select Chrome as your browser.

Select Managing Your Account from the drop-down menu.

Select 'Delete Your Account' from the drop-down menu.

Select "How do I remove my account?" from the drop-down menu.

Now select "Delete your account" from the drop-down menu.

'Temporarily disable my account' should be selected.

Choose 'Why are you disabling your account?' as the reason.

Re-enter your password and select 'Temporarily disable account' from the drop-down menu.

Your account has now been canceled, and it will remain hidden from other users until you log in again.


How to download my Instagram data
